Dream South Beach, by Hyatt

I’ve stayed at Dream South Beach multiple times, and the staff remain the property’s biggest asset—consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is great if you want to be in South Beach, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The rooftop pool is also a nice feature for a hotel of this size. Breakfast hours are very generous—until 2pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use a renovation, especially the carpets, but the service and location keep me coming back.

Feb 26 couple's winter beach vacation. Great hotel in a prime location! Love the loaner beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and bikes! Rooftop pool and bar were wonderful! Outstanding front desk staff! Each and every person was extremely helpful! Standard room was clean and somewhat small, but was just fine for a couple. Definitely will come back. Docked a star for flat bottom sheet on the bed. PLEASE use fitted sheets just like you have at home and I have at home and every sheet retailer sells. NOBODY wants to strain their back to remake the bed after pulling out the top sheet and duvet. Also, the alarm clock went off at 6 AM on our first morning. Please remind the housekeeping staff to ensure the alarm is turned off. Upgrade to fitted bottom sheets and the review is five stars!

Small Boutique hotel. Not the standard of other Marriott hotels, but good location. Our suite (269 & 270) is quite loud during the night, you hear the people walking around on the floor above and there is a lot of music and people partying on the street and the restaurant below, all through the night to sunrise. If you are a light sleeper, you definitely need earplugs. Also a lot of light coming in from under the doors from the corridor at night. Everything is looking like in need of some cleaning and fixing...in that sense fits very much Miami Beach. Roof terrace is nice, small 3 foot deep pool, the building is right behind Versace Villa, and you can even see a sliver of the ocean. Beach is very close, less than a 5 Minute walk. I can’t say enough about Destiny T. She went above and beyond for me and made sure the room was comfortable and to my liking. I had a bad experience at a Hilton down the street and when Destiny heard about it she did everything she could to make sure I was well taken care of. She was so kind and helpful!! Her customer service was amazing and she was a life saver for me. Room is really nice and the location is great too!!
