Downtown Guesthouse

Myself and 2 others stayed here in June for my brothers wedding and it was a great experience! The house was a perfect size for us, 2 beds one bath, and it felt very much like home! Meghann met us when we arrived and she was extremely nice and helpful! Also, as a bonus, we were given sweets from the bakery and more breakfast food than we could ever eat in one weekend! Another bonus is that the wine trolley will pick you up right in front of the house and you are centrally located to walk to many other attractions in Hermann. I recommend Downtown Guesthouse and will definitely stay here again!

A cozy little 2 bd 1 ba place to shore up while in the area!

Came to Hermann over Memorial Day weekend with 3 of my girlfriends. This house was perfect for us to have our own space and was so convenient to everything we needed in town! It would be perfect for a girls trip or 2 couples looking to stay somewhere a bit more private than a B&B. Plus, the owners left us fruit, eggs and pastries for us to enjoy in the mornings! I have recommended this place to several people already that have mentioned a trip they were taking to Hermann.

This is an adorable, up-to-date, very clean and tidy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house just steps from downtown Hermann. We visited for Ocktoberfest 3-5, 2014. It was our first visit ever to Hermann. There was plenty of coffee, creamer, sugar, eggs, pastries, fruit, juice, snacks and a bottle of local wine in the kitchen, which had cute retro appliances. The home was spacious enough for our party, which was two couples. The bathroom must've had a hot water on demand because we had plenty of hot water for four adults, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The living room and bedroom were up-to-date. TV was available with cable. Cute breezeway between the garage and house was a nice place to have coffee. Backyard had patio table and chairs and a fire pit (we didn't build a fire).

3 of my girlfriends and I stayed here last fall, and it was a really great experience. Meghan and Brad were really terrific. The house is adorable...very quaint but modern. A lot of the bed and breakfasts in Hermann are quaint and outdated, but they have done an awesome job striking a balance between updated and cozy! They stocked the fridge for us with breakfast food and even touched base with me beforehand to find out what we liked and didn't like for breakfast. It was really nice having a whole house to ourselves versus some of the other places where it feels less private. The location is hard to beat. It's just a 5 minute walk from downtown and the trolley even picked us up at the house! I highly recommend the Downtown Guesthouse. You won't be disappointed!
