Downtown Dover Inn

Their advertisment is false. There is no breakfast, and as dirty as it was I wouldn't eat there anyways. The pool was green, cloudy, and cold. We had no heat in our room for the two days we were there (looking for a safer hotel). And they charged us $388.44 for the two days. The bathroom vent had no cover so the blades were exposed. The outside door on the second floor didn't lock. At night there was yelling, doors slamming, and partying going on. I would NOT recommend this Inn to anyone.

Staying here and staff is nice. Super helpful when have questions or need something. Was upset they stopped breakfast service in the morning and that rooms do not have a microwave but that hasn't stopped us from having a decent stay. Decent prices and close to a lot of nice restaurants. Pool area is always quiet and they allow pets which is nice. For a small quaint motel/hotel vibe it is great. People staying are friendly as well.

Visiting from Florida on company business. BEDBUGS in the room my son and I were staying in (room 133). Went to a colleague’s room (142). BEDBUGS THERE, TOO! Contacted the front desk and spoke with Rahm. He advised that he would contact his manager. “Allegedly” he “did”. Asked him to contact the individual who had booked the room for several other colleagues and I. He said he would. Contacted the office again (possibly 20 minutes later) and spoke with Rahm AGAIN. He had stated that he did NOT contact the individual who had booked ALL of the rooms for my colleagues and I and that I would have to wait until his manager came in (either at 9am or 10am) to address this issue. Everyone in my party that is staying here (with the exception of one individual) is leaving at 10am. Rahm did offer to “

Positive: The location of the hotel. Negative: It was not clean or safe to stay in. Doors did not close all the way or had 1 inch or more gaps leading to the outside and it was cold out. We could not stay at the hotel.

From the moment , TJ was prompt, courteous, and attentive. When my food arrived, everything was perfectly arranged, and TJ took the time to ensure I had everything I needed. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly enhanced my stay, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely request TJ again if I return to the hotel!
