DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Anaheim Resort - Convention Center

I wanted to reach out to you to highlight the following staff Paula; Fredy; Christopher; Angel; Stephanie; Jose; Maria; Curlessa. They went above and beyond to help my family to have an exceptional stay. They were knowledgeable and provided amazing customer service from the check in to check out. This is something that should be recognized and rewarded especially now because so many other places lack this exact quality in their front desk staff. I extended my stay because of their hospitality and will recommend the hotel to others and will be staying here next time I am in town.

My family and I took a drive from Arizona to California for Disney. Pros: This is a good family hotel with an Italian restaurant, Starbucks, bar, and goft shop that has items from Disney merchandise to Tylenol. They also serve a breakfast buffet that must be paid for. The hotel is not too far from Disney, but there are other hotels that are perfect walking distance. All staff is friendly, and the front reception is clean and tidy along with the dining area and around the grounds. They give you warm cookies upon arrival! We were on the seventh floor which had a nice view, and parking is free if you stay there. I was told the pool is heated, but did not experience this. The rooms and hallways were decorated nicely. Cons: I do agree with some reviewers that there is a smell. I did not smell

Positive: I really felt like the hotel staff when I was their way to help my family and I with every little thing such as making sure our car was parked in the safe spot, and all our other needs, and it was very genuine. Negative: Only problem I had was that there was hotel guests smoking in swimming pool/spa area and there was no one telling them not to

We stayed here for easy walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center for a cheer competition. The hotel seemed a good balance between price point and location. If you are looking for a hotel with easy access to the convention center or Disney, you could do a lot worse--can't fault the location. My biggest problem with the hotel was the quality of the room and beds. We certainly weren't expecting luxury--the hotel itself is probably what I would call a 3 star. The room was just dreary and dank--everything was really old from the un-sittable stiff couch to the tired mattresses that were worn in and indented. They REALLY need to get new ones. The pillows were really bad as well--zero fluff. We left a day earlier than planned because the room just wasn't comfortable and we couldn't sleep

Stayed at this property multiple times. The amenities are ok, rooms are slightly dated, restaurant staff is very friendly.|The front desk supervisor is very condescending, rude and disrespectful. When I reported this to Hilton Diamond Desk, ownership and leadership did not reply. The front desk agent felt empowered and was very arrogant for an entry level manager. I am not the over the top guest, however I have never ever seen such terrible customer service, especially to a lifetime Diamond member.
