DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa Downtown

Been to two separate meetings at the DoubleTree downtown in the last year. I cannot speak to the rooms but the meeting spaces are spacious, welcoming, and the service staff did a tremendous job. Some of the fixtures could use minor maintenance repairs, and the exterior has been through a few Tulsa storms, and it shows. The bar staff and food service is top notch. Every drink and plate of food I've seen or had is wonderful by restaurant standards. I have not stayed in the rooms myself, so I can't speak to them directly. However, two of my work colleagues stayed and insist on this location every time.

Amazing hotel. I have stayed at many Doubletrees from the Boston area to Orlando, FL and this is the nicest HANDS-DOWN! The rooms are spacious, the lobby area is BEAUTIFUL with many sitting areas and TV's. The restaurant and bar area is wonderful and the staff is MORE than welcoming and definitely have that "southern charm." The food is amazing (I had the sirloin steak with potatoes and veggies) and the room service is on point! |The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect and extremely clean with plenty of fresh towels readily available. ||5 stars all the way around!

Positive: Staff was the best thing about this stay - as I was leaving. She was the most helpful staff for a terrible experience. Negative: Everything. I disliked that I booked a King room and arrived with no rooms available, after waiting for an hour to check in. Not because of a long line, but because there were no clean rooms available. Had to get a double queen. Not what I wanted.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Sarah! And the front desk; my little girl wrapped her bathing suit in the pool towel and we put the towel in the cans in the pool room and noticed that we didn’t have it couple hours later; Sarah went out of her way to go look for her bathing suit and FOUND it! And yes it’s just a bathing suit but it was her favorite one and still had lots of life left. We really appreciated her going out of her way to take the time to look!! Thank you soo much!! The hotel itself was great! Rooms/bathroom were clean! If I had to say anything about it; would be that the online app to order food for room service didn’t/wouldn’t work and that was kinda disappointing but diff not a deal breaker from staying again.

The hotel itself is ok. The interior is nice and its pretty centrally located if you want to explore downtown. However the rooms are average at best. During our stay there was an OBNOXIOUS amount of kids running WILD in the pool area. That later evolved into those same people running in the hallways at night and being disruptive. Breakfast is also NOT included ($18 p/p) along with parking ($28 p/d). Overall if you enjoy Hilton properties you would be MUCH BETTER off staying at the location next to St. Francis Hospital.
