DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport

I love the SeaTac Doubletree. I don’t think it deserves the low rating it currently has. You get what you pay for, folks. This hotel is sprawling! The pool is well cared for and a nice setup. There are lots of nooks to relax in, and the food service is nothing fancy, but fits the bill. In my opinion, room rates are reasonable, all things considered. Yes, this old gal could use a face lift, but I find the outdated lodge house decor oddly charming. The lobby desk is a pain point for sure with frequent long lines especially as shuttles arrive, but online check in and Hilton Gold status help make for a smoother experience. Positive: The room was so spacious. We loved it and also loved having 2 sinks. Very, very nice. Thank you. And hotel employee who checked us in was delightful and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we come to the Seattle airport. Thanks! Negative: The jacuzzi could have been cleaner and working better outside.

You know it's a good hotel when you show up and an entire airplane crew is checking out (about 15 flight attendants and 4 pilots). This hotel is a 15 minute walk from SeaTac airport. Free hotel shuttles to and from the airport are available every 20 minutes, 24/7 (this is more frequently than most other hotels). The DoubleTree hotel shuttle picks you up from the airport on the 3rd floor of the arrivals parking garage (if I recall correctly). There are signs you can follow if confused. Rooms at this hotel are super clean. The mattresses are super comfortable and soft, with clean sheets. The rooms are quiet. Every bathroom has a bathtub. Robert and Mike made my stay. Visit the lounge and ask Robert for “the last word” just a great drink with a history lesson that’s worth the night. Relax and enjoy your evening. Close to the airport an so many options around but before you leave the hotel give the bar a visit. Absolutely great staff and service, highly recommend. The convenience factor is huge. Book it it’s worth a stay.

You stay here becuase you have to not want to. Its near the airport which makes in convenient but thats about it. You pay for convenience. 33 a night for parking basically brings this hotel to the same price as the others in a SIGNIFICANTLY NICER area then this hotel. No free breakfast is a huge one. Having to spend even more making this well beyond a budget pricing hotel. Very large but also very dated and smelly. My hotel room was the "3rd" wing and it shows. Entire room is "sweaty" and smells like urine. Walls all banged up, seating was damaged. This hotel has not been updated since at least the 80s. Breakfast - not free. Have 2 extremely overpriced brrakfast zones near the lobby. 1 is a "coffee" shop with microwave burritos for 15-18 + 6dollars for a coffee. It you wait about 15mims
