DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver - Aurora

Manager Scott Turbow refused to cancel my Expedia reservation despite my stay being 48 hours away and having a cancellation policy. The hotels facebook describes him with.. "Our General Manager Scott Turbow leads with kindness, dedication, and an incredible passion for hospitality. From supporting our team to making sure every guest feels right at home. He truly sets the tone for excellence here at DoubleTree Denver-Aurora." I would heartily disagree and as a lifelong Hilton aficionado he also does not want me to spend another dime at a Hilton property, apparently. Thanks, Scott! Incredible customer service!

Positive: "" Negative: Elevators NOT Working, had to climb to FIFTH FLOOR and also bring Luggage down by the Stairs! HORRIBLE knowing that the Elevators were inoperable ALL Weekend except for One that broke down on Monday. You were lucky if You received HOUSEKEEPING Services!

Very clean hotel. Great customer service. The architecture and decor are very nice. The room is very big with a fridge and microwave! Two free bottles of water if you're a hilton member.

Stayed here for a few days while here for a training for work. They stay was great! Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and perfect for me. The room had everything I needed and they even threw in some extra towels upon my request via booking. Showers were clean and hot, and they came with your shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, and lotion. The gym was good for me to work out and a swim after was icing on the cake. And the conference room were good size if you were looking for that. I loved that i could take the stairs that put me on the back side near the conference rooms. There were a group of kids staying at the same time and even with them playing it didnt get too loud at all. I booked my stay with the complimentary breakfast, but I paid for an omelet meal one of the days that was way b

I want to let everyone know I just flew in from Arizona and I’ve called all around to find a hotel. Even the one I made a reservation at comfort Inn and they told me that I couldn’t check in till 3 PM. I am exhausted. I came here to take care of one of my friends that is critically ill with cancer and I called the Doubletree and I got a young lady by the name of Julia and her attitude was so immaculate and she was able to get me into a room and I’m in it right now. I’m about to take a shower and lay down and if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be in this comfortable zone that I’m in and I want you all to know if you ever come to the Doubletree on Blackhawk and 225 make sure you ask if Julia is here because she is the most warmest kindest soul that I have met and was more than willing to help
