Doray Motel

Paid $204 for a one night stay, 2 queen beds. Arrived at 2 just to put our food in fridge and go; the fridge wasn’t working. There was also a musty smell in the room. Me and my mom ( 85 years old) got back at 9pm. My mom was exhausted and got her nightgown on and went to pull the blanket down and there were big stains on the sheets; it was gross. I contacted the owner. As I waited for a response I noticed smear marks on the windows, and it was clear by the stickiness and bugs on floor that it had not been cleaned. The owner came and he and his wife changed the sheets. We were not offered a different room. By the time they were done it was 9:30pm and my mom was unsteady on her feet . They offered to clean the floor but my mom needed to lay down so I declined. They apologized but what could

I have stayed here before, and I will say it again. It's old-fashioned but fine. The decor is old-school camping (it will feel like a cabin) but the room is clean and adequate. Seriously. You can't beat the price and the convenience of being able to walk into town. (Its a mile down the backroad through battlefield park to million dollar beach.) OR its a slightly longer walk along rt 9 into town. The owners are pleasant and accommodating. As long as you are aware that it is not updated, you will not be disappointed, ...how much time are you in the room anyway?| I never heard my neighbors, |shower was hot and strong, |the bed comfy and the whole room is cozy. There are benefits to a cozy room= within 10 mins of turning on the a/c ...the whole room was cool. |I truly recommend as long as you

We were warmly welcomed at this charming little motel. The room feels like a small cabin, you feel surrounded by nature and it’s very peaceful. It is equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, a table with two chairs, and a comfortable bed. The motel is well located; there is a gas station right next door where we grabbed our breakfast. Everything is within walking distance, the beach, souvenir shops, Fort William Henry, Pirate Mini Golf, Shepard Park, and more. In short, we will definitely be coming back!

Cute place. Owners were friendly and helpful. Very convenient to the Stewarts gas station for a morning coffee but it’s also very busy there and a big hangout at night. Though it’s further out on the edge of town, still noisy at night until about midnight with loud vehicles on the road.
