Dockside Inn & Resort

I'm so glad I booked two nights here for my vacation/business trip-- I don't know how this place doesn't have a higher rating! I am staying in a great room with a door leading right outside, to a path down to the river. I think the walk to the ocean took me less than 10 minutes. The water pressure in the shower is better than I have at home. The room has a kitchenette larger than I've seen in some apartments for about the cost of your average hotel room (and most aren't located so close to the water for this price). And most importantly, the service is great (thanks to Louise (spelling?) at the front desk for helping me get registered and being so kind and friendly!). I'm going to see if I can book a third night at the end of my stay because it is so cozy :)

Luxurious large size bed comfy pillows...but...overhead lighting sucks, had to get on a chair and turn the light bulb in the kitchen. Not that my intent was to sit in the room and watch TV, but the TV was "un-watchable". Looked forward to a shower after a beach day but it was impossible to steady the hot n cold...hot just about scalded me when it surprised me by turning extra hot...and the towels..OMG if your skin needs ex-foliating then you got it with these abrasive towels. I left one day early
