Disney's Pop Century Resort

We stayed for 7 nights, checking out on 1st November. We were in the 50s section, building 2. Our location was a 10 minute stroll to the hippy dippy pool, classic hall & skyliner. The skyliner was a huge plus! You arrive at Caribbean Beach Resort in 5 minutes and from there it’s another 5 mins to Hollywood Studios, maybe 10 mins to Epcot. We used the Skyliner constantly and only ever had to queue once. |The food hall & store (Everything Pop Dining & Shopping), laundry, arcade and 50s bowling pin pool were all great - very clean, fantastic cast members. Provided us with all we needed. |Our room was perfect for 3 of us and spotlessly clean. House keeping came every other day. This Disney Resort is a great option if you’re looking for something close to the parks and more affordable than the others. The exterior might look outdated, but the inside of the rooms is surprisingly nice. Since it’s a Disney resort, getting to the parks is very convenient, especially if you’re not planning to drive. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well-renovated. The showers had great pressure. The only complaint I have is that this was a surprise trip planned by my partner. He talked to the concierge and front desk ahead of time to make it special, since he was planning to propose and we were both celebrating our birthdays. They promised to do something special in our room, but they didn’t. The only happy birthday message we received was on the TV

Positive: Convenient for getting around though a lot of walking. If there's a problem they did remedy the issue. Negative: There was an unwanted pest in my room, probably from a previous guest.

It's very nice hotel for the value and amenities. Rooms are very clean and the staff is fabulous. The food court is exceptional, very clean and very fairly priced. I love the pop century décor and the large statues. The three swimming pools are well guarded. I was impressed how attentive the lifeguards are and they are constantly surveying the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Pop Century Resort for the National School Spirit Championships. The room was cozy. Loved that the second bed was full sized and flipped up to create more space. The bathroom was spacious. The location was convenient and there were multiple ways to get to and from the parks including free shuttles that ran every 20 mins. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the cost of food and drinks at the Everything Pop food court but that was to be expected. We were able to easily get Walmart pick up orders and Uber Eats on nights we didn't want to eat there. Overall I would absolutely recommend Pop Century Resort and would have no problem staying here again.
