When I tell you that customer service is important when finding a place to stay. This place is exceptional. The rooms always smell good. It’s a nice size. And the prices are reasonable. Weekly rates you can’t beat no where in Macon. If you want somewhere that’s peaceful and quiet. Book discovery inn.

Stayed here for one night June 24th. When I arrived, the manager and front desk agent asked for my name, then the manager asked me to show him my booking information, including the amount I paid, and confirmation etc. Then I offered the front desk agent my id as having worked in and stayed in many hotels, I understand this is part of the process. Then both disappeared to the back with my Id for 15-20 minutes without a word. The front desk agent finally came back to explain that they couldn’t locate my booking. They should have told me what was going on before disappearing, and also there is no reason having seen my confirmation information and that I had already paid in full (at no discounted rate whatsoever at that), they should have taken my basic information and given me a room key, and

This was a last minute booking for 3 days. The price was reasonable, but not, compared to a couple other hotels in the same star category. The lady at check in was very nice and quick. I had no problems checking in, even with my small service animal. The hotel is a bit run down and can do for many repairs. The door lock box is open and showing wires. There isn't a mirror on the bathroom wall. The toilet seat is beyond overused. There isn't a firealarm. The carpets need replacing. The towels are stained, but clean. The hot water is awesome, very hot. The room was clean, however, whatever they used to deodorize the room, was way too much. It made my eyes, nose, and throat burn all night the first night. Did not get service on day 2, to let chemical odor evaporate. The people in other rooms,

I have been staying at this motel on and off for about 15 years. I always enjoy the service I receive. Recently the property has been under new management. The improvements being made are very noticeable, from the elevated service to the cleanliness and also the newly renovated rooms. I have noticed this during my last several stays and want to thank the Manager, Troy for everything he is doing to make this a better place. If you are staying in this area, choose this motel, you will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay. Have a variety of rooms to choose from depending on your price range. They also have new rooms and they have old rooms. The owners and housekeepers are very nice. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms smell and are very bleachy. Beds are comfortable and bug free. WiFi is great. It's quiet the front side and backside and not a lot of traffic or anyone hanging out.
