Dillon Motorcoach & RV Park

The park is new, or at least in like new condition. It is located close enough to i15 to be extremely convenient, yet far enough away to not be overwhelmed by highway noise. The spots are level, each has a concrete patio area with picnic table. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The one downside is the lack of shade. This, of course, will be corrected in time as the trees grow. I'd definitely stop in again for an overnight stay. They take reservations via Campspot. It is very convenient.

Definitely not an RV Resort. Not even an onsite office. There is a run down camper with an office sign on it. Nobody there to check you in though. Never saw a campsite employee during our two day stay. The design process came from greed. The roads between the campsite rows are way too narrow to accommodate any longer camper being towed behind a full size truck. This could have been done much better with less sites. Less than thirty feet width to get a big rig turned into a very cramped site. Saw one guy try twice before simply backing out and leaving. Also check out the photo. The red truck is in his site,truck and trailer but the front end encroaches the road because the sites are also too short for bigger rigs. It does have one thing going for it. The location is great. This is not a Motorcoach / RV Resort, it’s a trailer park with a delusion. Quote RV Resort In most cases when a location labels themselves as an RV Resort this means you can expect to get a few more amenities than your usual RV spot. This can include cable TV hook up, wireless internet service, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course, bath house with showers, coin laundry machines and more. RV sites at resorts are usually roomy with level paved parking pads and there will be a large number of RV spaces. Some resorts are quite fancy and you may find a manned gate and requirements as to the caliber of RV you can bring on the property. Some of these resorts even offer shuttle services to get you to nearby attractions.

I am grateful to get a space on a crowded weekend in Dillon MT and owners are nice. However it is more expensive than Southside RV, has no shade, toilets, showers, or WiFi. I wouldn’t recommend it or stay again.

We spoke with the owner on the phone. He was very kind and helpful. It’s quite confusing upon arrival because the office is an older trailer. Coming from the road. You can not tell that it’s the office. The cement and gravel sites are done well and there is a small grassy area at each site. There was fog feces everywhere including on the gravel driveway and grassy area by the canal. Unfortunately, I stepped in it twice. This is a parking lot and not a resort. There are no resort amenities.
