DIAMOND RIDGE | BLACK MOUNTAIN LOG CABIN | #1 VIEWS IN B.M.

We had a lovely weekend at Diamond Ridge! This was the spot for our annual friend's reunion. We travel to a different part of Appalachia each year, but this may be a "return house" for future trips! The owners were very kind and helpful, offering clear instructions for all amenities. They also supplied firewood for the indoor fireplace, which is rare for most cabin rentals! Located high on the mountain, the views are absolutely incredible (more so in the winter when the trees are bare). There are several hiking trails just steps away, and downtown Black Mountain offers plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options (~20 mins. from the cabin).

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for a "Brother's" vacation. It was gorgeous, well stocked and totally fantastic. The owners were very attentive and helpful. They suggested a nice family hike that was child appropriate that was a few steps from our driveway. Very secluded and private. We had a great vacation catching up and spending time together. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here March of 2022. The place is absolutely stunning. We stayed with three families that included 9 kids and it was perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. Easy access to a private trail that is really nice. You do have a pretty good climb to get back to the cabin so be careful if you have someone who gets altitude sickness or is not in the best of shape. The cabin was spotless. The playroom in the lower level was perfect for children. You can tell the owner cares about this property.

GREAT VACATION WITH 3 FAMILIES Our family and two others decided to mix things up and rent a house instead of hotel rooms. It was fantastic. The adults ate, drank, cooked and laughed. The kids ran around, played and had their own space. Very relaxing and great family time. All the kids had a blast and the adults felt like we were at camp again. Not to mention how affordable it is to split a house 3 ways. We will be back and we definitely recommend this house and the owners were great as well. Fred Best and the rest :) PS: Bring water shoes there is a great hike with a beautiful waterfall that is good for kids of all ages next to the property and a river to play in.

Just finished a 4 night retreat with my team of 12 in Black Mountain and will definitely be back next year. The house was great for us to spread out when needed to work independently and had plenty of common areas and seating when we needed to collaborate. There was plenty of room for sleeping and the large kitchen worked well when we cooked and catered. We spent time hiking and exploring we even saw some amazing wildlife. The Internet was adequate for our needs even though we were on top of a mountain. The game room was comfortable as were the beds. While decoding the trip, I have to say the highlights were the time we spent just hanging out. I found myself just “being” with each person at some point and really connecting. Usually this happened outside on the deck or by the picnic benches
