Devils Lake Inn By OYO Near Devils Lake Regional Airport

4 of us came up and stayed for an ice fishing weekend. Rooms were clean, affordable and had everything we needed. Service was great! Coffee maker in the room for the morning, microwave and fridge came in handy. Would stay here again!

This place is a complete dump! Our air conditioner was falling apart, the room had new vinyl type flooring but no trim. There was sheet rock "patch work " . The room was very dated. It smelled bad. It did not seem sanitary. After I checked out the room I went back to the office to express my concern. I was issued a full refund and he was pleasant to deal with. He asked me if he could put down change of plans instead of the real issue. I reported him to booking (dot) com. The stairs to upstairs don't appear safe. They're swelled and bow very badly. There's no pool. Id sleep in my car before staying here.

Rooms were stinky as ever with smoke and other weird smells. Stains everywhere on the walls. There was cracks on the walls and water damage stains on the ceilings. The AC unit was blowing warm air. We did not feel clean at all. Will not be returning. Please do update the interior. This place needs to be remodeled.

Myself and my husband stayed here a weekend for a fishing trip. The stay started out a little concerning as the rooms weren't clean to my standards however they did go out of their way to clean the room. The parking was perfect for a truck and boat set up. One day I turned the AC off and was gone all day and called the desk and asked if they would be willing to run to my room to turn it on and they did. Again, great customer service and friendly staff. Location, price and convenience were most important and all areas were met.

I think this inn is average. Low cost. There are some things that throw me off. Where is the TV remote? I tried to use the TV buttons, but the channel buttons didn’t work. And the lights in the bedroom aren’t bright enough, but at least they work. Some of the outlets didn’t work. This inn needs some improvements.
