Destiny Palms Hotel

This is the 4th stay over 10 years in this Hotel. Family run and always clean. Its a bit dated but they keep it spic and span and nothing bvroken even though needs a big refresh. No breakfast, no microwave in rooms. limited food choices walking distance. It's budget but OK for 1 or 2 nights.

Positive: Remodeled, clean, safe Negative: Hard to find in the dark. A lot up sign by driveway would be very helpful.

Housekeeping returned some medications we left behind to the front desk and helped get them back to us buy UPS! Pros: affordable, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, set back from the highway and quiet, very friendly and helpful staff Cons: mildew smell, smoking near entrance, debris in pool, shower stall a little grimy I hate to even be critical because of how kind and understanding the staff was with returning the prescription medication. Everything was fine for my teenage son and I, just a couple guys using the hotel as a place to sleep while we explored local fishing spots especially Lake Louisa State Park which I highly recommend. We were on a budget and appreciate the affordability but I probably wouldn't choose it for, say, a romantic getaway.

Very well kept motel. Very Nice Staff and respond quickly if you need any repairs done in your room. I would definitely stay here again. We were here for 13 days. It is probably the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in. It may or man not say it on the description but it does not have a breakfast provided. The McDonalds is about 300 ft from the motel. Nice people nice place and a good value.

Minuses Housekeeping is every other day. Room carpet was stained.shower very small and shower head was disgusting and door leaked onto the floor. . Tv channels digital hard to figure out. Pluses Staff friendly Very quiet . The place seems secure . toaster microwave fresh coffee. Hot water for tea but bring your own tea seating to eat clean . There us a 7-11 and McDonalds across from the front parking lot Numerous other restaurants ,a Target very close by E 192, Budget hotel. Similar to a super 8 AC/ heat worked well. Comfortable bed, small room for a king bed but fine for me. If you want bare bones close to disney .no frills. its a 6 out of 10 rating You get what you pay for Please update your showers.
