Desert Vacation Villas

Great value hotel, about 1 hour drive from Joshua Tree National Park and close to sites in Palm Springs. Service was very kind with easy check in and check out. Rooms were clean, and all appliances/plumbing worked well. Fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and hot tub were great amenities! Perfect for families or friends.

Resort was very outdated and although the staff was very nice, we were put in a room with a view of an empty lot and construction on an upper floor. When we asked to be moved they said that this was the rom RCI chose to block us in.

Positive: Location was ok Negative: Strange smell in room. Started to affect sinuses and became congested. Saw some mold on curtain liners and feel maybe people were smoking in room before our arrival. Just wasn?t comfortable and had to check out early. Did not live up to 3 star rating

1. Using the method they described, we simply couldn’t get on the Wi-Fi. 2. Every time we entered, the smell was very strong and pungent. 3. There wasn’t enough shampoo, and no body wash, just a small bar of soap. We ended up buying a bottle of body wash ourselves at the supermarket.

We absolutely loved this place! So clean and comfortable and the grounds were perfectly kept as well. Will, the groundskeeper made a new friend in my husband when he grabbed some pool floaties on his Home Depot run, thank you Will! The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do and it’s right up against the beautiful mountains, stunning views. We had a very nice kitchen, well stocked with anything you need. The AC worked really well but miraculously it wasn’t too hot while we were there for 4 days in mid April. Definitely looking forward to our next visit in early 2026!
