Depe Dene Lakeside Resort

We found Depe Dene resort on booking.com. We loved that it is nestled in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George. We came for our tenth anniversary and it was a perfect little getaway we stayed in a two-bedroom villa which was cute and rustic. There was a beach area with chairs a boat dock if you have a boat. They have a laundry room so you can stay awhile. They have many different styles of rooms or villas to choose from. If you like your big family and want to take them with you, they have room for that. We found it very pleasant easy-going and relaxing great place to visit. A great place to be right by the lake. Our room had a balcony over the lake with a spectacular view. The furniture was dated but the bed was super comfortable and everything was functional. The room was quiet. We did not use any of the property’s amenities (tennis, pickle ball courts, kayak etc) but think that it would be nice to return in the summer and use them. The village is about 10 min away by car and offers restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. The area is beautiful and offers great hikes. Overall and nice and affordable stay in a beautiful area.

Our 8th year staying with depedene, nice friendly staff, great campground. No issues or problems. Room attendant came by every day to drop off fresh towels and clean linens. Rooms are well laid out and clean. I like staying here because they let enjoy your time without having too many rules or regulations. Perfect for a relaxing weekend trip. We love the blue cabins are well laid out and spacious as well. Just wish they allowed dogs! I've recommend this place to friends and family who also enjoyed there stays. This is my favorite camp ground on lake george. Hopefully they keep it the same for years to come!

This was our second time staying at this resort. We liked spacious rooms and great location. Even though this property is not new, everything is clean and in good working condition. It is a quiet and safe place to stay. Breathtaking views of Lake George and private beach. Very responsive customer service team. We wish they were open in the winter. Depe Dene is the place to stay at Lake George.

We had such a great stay. I highly recommend the place. We are definitely coming back. The place was perfect. Very clean and and friendly. The cabins had great living space with full kitchens, great living room, private porches and super comfy beds!! The water pressure in the showers was great and the water was nice and hot! I loved the private beach area. They are close to town but nice it wasn’t right there so you got to enjoy the lake. We want to come back and enjoy the space more!!
