Delight Stay Hotel

This hotel tried to scam my wife and I on our honeymoon. We arrived from out of country and they said our reservation had been canceled… but they could rebook us at the current rate which was 3x the rate we booked at. They then would not let us call Expedia from their lobby which is who we booked through. I ultimately didn’t care as I had an international cellphone plan but I’m sure most people from out of country do not so they know you likely have no recourse. Expedia got involved, no on canceled anything at any point and Expedia made them honour our reservation and rate. We then went out for supper and came back 2 hours later. This is NOT an hotel any longer !! It used to be Quality Inn . its a shelter that city using for rif rafs ! Also its across the street from a cemetery I fail to believe that management is actually taking reservations & not informing that this is a shelter for homeless .They ruining our block they smoke weed are loud & police are there every week .Please stay away
