Dee Jay Beach Resort

As part of our annual family trip we always look forward to staying at this location. What a great place so close to the beach with such a great relaxing feel. The owner Marissa, is such a joy who has always give above and beyond to accommodate us. This place is an absolute bargain to anyone who wants to enjoy a clean friendly environment with a laid back atmosphere. We will definitely be back every year. We are so grateful.

Rooms are Spacious and clean. Area is very safe and walkable to groceries or nightlife. I’ve been coming here for many years and will keep coming back. Marissa goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and treats you like family. Pool is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.

We had such a wonderful stay at Dee Jay Resort in Florida! One of the best parts of the property is having a full kitchen! It made such a difference to be able to cook breakfast in the mornings and store snacks and drinks for the beach. The location is unbeatable since it’s right across from the beach, where we were able to snorkel by the pier. It's a quiet and relaxed space but walk a few blocks to the town square for live music and good resturants. The service was also excellent. Communication was incredibly responsive — any time we had a question, we got an answer ASAP. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Dee Jay Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing beach getaway.

This place was very dirty. There was black mold and roaches in the bathroom. The sheets did not fit the bed and when I looked closer they were stained. There was some sticky stuff on the nightstand, they did not have black out blinds and the lights were in your window. The air conditioner was a floor unit and was so noisy you could not sleep. Tried to get a refund through booking and they said the owner would not give a refund. She was sweet when I talked to her initially but I guess I was wrong. On a scale of 1-5 I give it a 0. This place is unhealthy.

The Dee jay hotel was a great place to stay at when visiting Lauderdale by the sea. My room was clean, came with a kitchen, and separate bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, utensils and cookware all of which were super convenient for making meals. It’s within walking distance to beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. Overall, I’d recommend staying at this resort.
