Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vicksburg

It can be challenging to find decent priced hotels in Mississippi and I ended up choosing this as a more affordable option when I was passing through in early February 2026. As soon as I pulled in I regretted my prepaid non-refundable reservation that I had made online. The hotel seemed run down and the area and people I saw left me feeling very unsafe. There were diesels all through the parking lots, engines regularly running and creating considerable noise. I barely slept as those and what I'm guessing was nearby highway construction made loud bangs throughout the night. The rooms had been updated, yet had a run down look and feel. The front desk was great at check in and the manager the next day was really friendly, offering me to grab some to go breakfast even though it had ended a

The good first. Hotel is updated, right off the interstate, not too far from shopping and such, the price was better than most in Vicksburg. Beds were comfortable. The bad. Zero parking, I mean zero parking. Tons of huge work trucks everywhere. We had a generator right outside our room. It turned on every morning at 6:30am. So loud, we were going to leave and go to another hotel but they owner said on Saturday it wouldn’t be there. The next day it was there again 6:30am. My husband told owner she lied to him. She said she has no control over construction. However, she could have put us in a different room. We were in room 114. They have zero hot water, I took a cold shower both nights. I didn’t try breakfast bc it was a tiny room that could fit maybe 3 people. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My company came from Tennessee all the way to Louisiana and Mississippi to do some work on the new Meta site. We came to the days Inn in Vicksburg Mississippi. Mac Patel treated us with the most upmost hospitality and make sure that we could be comfortable. He let us park our trucks here even though we weren’t supposed to park all of them we had 10 and he worked with us even steel and it’s still working with us if you ever come to Vicksburg, Mississippi come by and see Mac Patel at Days Inn by Wyndham.

I arrived with no reservation on a holiday weekend traveling across our nation. No room at the Inn. No room at other places. I thank God for the wonderful woman at the desk who called around and found a place for me. Their customer service is excellent.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and overall had a good experience. The stay was comfortable, but there were a couple of small things that could be improved: 1. When I first checked in, the room felt very humid. I had to adjust the AC and wait a bit before it became comfortable. 2. The gap around the entrance door was a little larger than I’d prefer. It doesn’t affect safety, but it did make the room feel slightly less private. On the positive side: 1. The view of the Mississippi River and the bridges is absolutely beautiful, and the Mississippi Welcome Center is just a short walk away. 2. The price is very reasonable for what you get. 3. There’s plenty of parking, which is super convenient.
