Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sunnyvale

Checked into this hotel for a five day stay. Within 10 minutes I knew it was a mistake. The parking lot was strewn with garbage.. There was a car with its hood up with people working on it. An old RV that was completely beat up that was clear someone was living in. A truck filled with garbage two stories high. There was a cinder block square that Should house a garbage Bin, instead, garbage was piled high, this was 10 feet from my room door. The room was old and the furniture very worn. If you were going to make a movie and needed a location that would offer the essence of a place where people come to buy drugs. This would serve well. I called the front desk and told them I didn’t feel comfortable or safe and they were willing to give me a full refund, which is the only positive thing I ca

I went with no reservation, the front desk lady told me if I need receipt , I asked why, She told me $15.00 off without receipt, I opted that option. Rooms don't have telephones, I called the hotel number asking to be connected to My room, what a surprise ! the guy on the phone told me that room was empty, out of order, I think front desk clerks are doing their own business. Furniture scratched, bed stained sheets. Next day We went for breakfast and I saw the attendant, She was loading food, linen to one car, I think with a relative they were stealing stuff from the Hotel.

Awful but spacious room. 1st room had a loose door handle and lock; it did not work. 2nd room had rust on fixtures, dirty walls, what appeared to be a couple dead ants on the mattress. Everything was super dated. The lighting was awful. I had a bite mark on my back, but didn’t see any bud bugs. The continental breakfast was a joke. Outside noise was an issue. I will not be going back. I recommend finding a different hotel.

Positive: The staff was nice at checking-in. Convenient location to access freeway. Negative: Outside was very noisy at the parking lot even at 2 am and why the hotel asked them to be quiet. Also the wall maybe too thin and could understand neighbor's conversation. The toilet makes noise every 10 minutes and it bothered me all night long.

My girlfriends and I checked in to watch the Super Bowl here. The game only played in Spanish. Unfortunately, we speak English. So, why sitting contemplating watching a review I decided to write a review. Cockroaches ✅️ Leaking shower head ✅️ Water pressure very low ✅️ Broken AC Unit ✅️ Dirty Curtains ✅️ Luke warm refrigerator ✅️ Unacceptable floors ✅️ Room phone not working ✅️ Broken furniture ✅️ Mattress 20+ years old check ✅️ Bugs in the window sill ✅️ Trash under the stairwell ✅️ I brought my concerns up to the front desk. The only things functioning properly in the room are some lights and some electrical outlets. The response was a discounted rate on a future stay. I will never stay here again. I would not recommend anyone stay here. The place is trashed.
