The man at the front desk that checked us in was very friendly, but the hotel was not in good condition. The exterior sign was broken and the hotel wasn't well lit, so upon arriving in the dark, we thought the hotel was closed. We found five cars in the parking lot and lobby lights on, so I went in. The hotel needs some major maintenance and updates. There was not a pleasant smell, the pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance, there was a large dead bug next to my bed and other garbage on the floor of the hotel room, there was a large stain on the side of one of the mattresses (there was a mattress cover and I didn't touch the side of the mattress), and the hotel just felt gross and dirty. I was very tempted to leave, but I was only sleeping there and there isn't much in the area, so we stayed the night. I'm surprised that Days Inn allows their brand on this q

Positive: Proximity to the highway. Negative: Room dated, holes in wall, no refrigerator, dust on where refrigerator should have been, two toilet paper rolls mounted in bathroom, sink outside of bathroom in main room, no furniture aside from bed, light switch cover falling out of bathroom wall.

The rooms aren't bad. The pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, but we knew ahead of time so it was fine. The parking lot is ample size, we fit a 15 passenger bus with no issue. I don't understand why the toilet paper is so far from the toilet. The luggage carrier things roll worse than a Walmart shopping cart The parking lot is filled with speed bumps. Makes it hard to wheel luggage back and forth, and because the bumps are so tall the people in the back of the vehicle will get tossed around. My main grievance is that the room wasn't cleaned very well before we arrived. The walls are disgusting, the bathroom floor is disgusting, there was hair on the shower wall, stuff on the mirror, the doors are dirty and streaked with grime. To be honest this place looks scatchy,especially in the dark. But it was very clean and comfortable. Its is very dated and old non the less its very comfortable. This place has obviously been here a long time and well used . Oh the breakfast was the only thjng that was unforgettable. Cold cereal and bread that was it.
