Days Inn Second Building

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean, which we really appreciate. We opted for a room with an ocean view. During the clear parts of the day/evening we could see the Monterey Bay. I scooted the chair over to in front of the window and had coffee and enjoyed the view with sounds of seals and seagulls in the background. Yep, that was nice. We had an issue with the toilet and management was quick to respond. Excellent service!! It was only a five minute drive to the aquarium. We would definitely stay there again! Check it out!

Get the ocean view! Better rooms and a decent view!

Excellent place by Presidio of Monterey if you’re searching for an inexpensive place to get you through with all of the extras such as cable television, hair drier, ironing board/iron, fridge and microwave.

Love this place. I am always greeted at the door with a smile and a handshake from the friendly bell hop. They put my bags in the room and are some of the most courteous staff at any place I have ever stayed at. Clean cozy rooms with great facilities ! Don't hesitate to check out this place.

Steer clear if you can from the dark, don't rooms. Cafe failed a few months ago, but is reopened . . . For now. Eat at the club or PX to b safe.
