Days Inn by Wyndham Woodbury Long Island

I was a little nervous about staying here after reading the comments. However, after a few days here I can confidently say some of y'all have Ritz taste on a Days Inn budget. It is not overpriced, it’s consistent with the area and affordable considering. It is not pretty, but it is clean and the staff is friendly. In fact, I frequently stay at hotels from high end to lower end and the service has been better than I’ve experienced at many higher end properties lately. Check in was quick, housekeeping was consistent, towels and bedding are clean, no foul odors and the area is quiet. The beds are actually very comfortable. The only complaint is the WiFi and cell service is not great.

Room was very nice, especially considering it’s priced lower than all others in the area - great shower too. But I have an issue when ‘breakfast included’ is advertised but the clerk stated “no, just coffee and protein bars”. So I ate at the local diner. Still, I would return.

i had to leave the door open the whole night because i woke up in the middle of the night because of the smell in the room. i have never been to a hotel where i had to leave the door open the whole entire night because of the smell in the room. i left the next day because i couldn’t bear another night of that horrible smell filling my nose even with falling asleep with my door wide open. if you are sensitive to smells like i am i really don’t recommend this place i almost went to sleep in my car

Decent for a cheap motel. Rooms are a little dated but cleaned daily - good housekeeping staff, they are very sweet and thorough. Front desk is a mixed bag. Some more helpful than others. The setting is a little hood, be prepared to encounter neighbors asking for favors. DHS housing here. No breakfast & they don’t really have a pool, hasn’t been open for years it seems. Stayed 3 nights. As soon as I woke up day 1, I walk out and discover I’m in a construction site, had to move rooms and asked for refund on the first night. They said they have to ask the manager - but they do not know when he’ll be back. Then I saw him talking with construction workers & asked directly. He said yes but dodged the resolution for the next 2 days. Thankfully trip.com credited me $100 in coins which pretty much

Beware: Zero compassion from management when I had to cancel due to a health emergency. I never stayed or used the room, yet still struggled to get any assistance or flexibility. Policies were prioritized over basic customer care. The situation caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Extremely frustrating experience — I would not recommend this location.
