Days Inn by Wyndham Sioux Falls Empire

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2026 while a relative was in the hospital. The price was super reasonable. The 2 men that worked at the front desk were both great, very friendly. Not sure if it was our timing or what, but they served biscuits & gravy for breakfast all 3 days. I thought it was good, but I would've loved to have had some eggs. There is a Perkins right across the street. Our rooms were clean, and the beds & pillows were comfy. So nice to have a microwave & frig in the room. The shower was good with good pressure. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because I found multiple long hairs in the room. Don't know if it was from the cleaning personnel themselves or from the people who were there before us. Definitely not from us - we both have short hair.

Positive: The staff was courteous and helpful. The beds/mattresses were great. Negative: The air conditioner in our room was super noisy. The drain in the tub didn?t work very well.

I stayed here for one night on a long road trip. The location right off the highway was convenient, and there are restaurants close by. Overall, the property looks a bit shopworn, both outside and inside. The desk clerk was friendly and noted my request for a quiet room. The room had a bit of a funky smell. The bathroom had definitely seen better days but was mostly clean. There were some small brown spots/smears on the wall and bathroom door frame that looked like they could've been, well, it was the bathroom. I made sure I didn't touch them. The bed was clean and comfortable and overnight the room was very quiet. I got to the breakfast room later than I intended too and it was still fairly adequately stocked, I was able to have a decent breakfast. Overall it was an OK, reasonably priced

Thee! Hands down BEST budget hotel we have stayed at. Great staff whom checked us in, he was thorough and great! Puppies loved it. It was 🫧 clean and spotless! Water pressure and temperatures were excellent. Top notch nightstand with USB and plugs. Lamps with plugs and simple easy switches for on and off. Lighting was great. Halls were fairly quiet and other guests were good too. December 2025.

We had a king room, the bed was very comfortable and room was clean, breakfast was waffles, and basically continental type breakfast. Great rates as well. Checked in later and left early. Was going to use the gym but it was closed - it should be open later than 8 pm.
