Customer Reviews
Positive: Things were broken, hair dryer was broken, kitchen faucet hot water water was broken. No ice machine did not work. But overall it was a great location and a clean room. Negative: The staff was nice, they were working on repairing the hotel, so that was great thing.
We booked this hotel for a quick one-night stay, so the bar wasn’t set high. The staff were helpful and attentive. At first glance, the room looked fine, but under a UV light the kitchen was in rough shape, old stains on the walls, visible residue on the cupboards and fridge. The bathroom was generally clean (wiped counters and floors), though the toilet bowl had staining and there was a pungent “old water” smell. Ventilation exists but didn’t seem to work. Sheets were clean, but there were holes in the wall above the bed. I’d avoid using the A/C; it blew a musty odor. If you just need a dry place for the night, it’ll do, but it’s far from glamorous. Would I stay here again? With this newfound knowledge, no.
We have stayed here several times due to its proximity to SDSU as our son is attending school here. It advertises a fitness room. Non existent. And a breakfast buffet. When we checked in last night we were told breakfast was 630 to 9am. When I checked with the front desk this morning I was told they don't offer breakfast???? Not sure where they are hiding a business center. I have never seen one. Its cheap to stay but you get what you pay for.
10/10 ! All the amenities you need, good value, friendliest staff (tip them if you can they deserve it). - access to laundry machine and drying machine - rooms are very comfortable, has everything including shampoo and shower gel even conditioner ! Don’t hesitate to tell the front desk if you are missing anything they’re always ready to help.
By far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. Especially the front desk attendant who had zero people skills and failed to communicate with us as we were in need of directions and assistance. Furthermore, when we requested clean towels the second day of our visit we were told they were on the way (which was a lie). After 6 calls politely asking for fresh towels we were ignored. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone!!! Stay away!!!!
