Days Inn by Wyndham Lake City I-10

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. After figuring out how the shower works, the pressure was great and the water plenty hot. The location is conveniently off I-10 but the only restaurant in the area is Huddle House. Despite the lot for tractor trailers being right next door, I couldn't hear any outside noise so I can a quiet night of sleep. Perfect for a nights sleep while traveling.

Firstly, I would never have stayed at this motel if I hadn’t had an emergency. There are tons of much nicer hotels up the road 5 miles but I couldn’t make it there. This has to be one of the worst places I have ever stayed. For one, it is sketchy. I will give them credit for seemingly knowing this and having runway lighting throughout their parking lot at night. It inexplicably turns off at 6am when it was still dark at this time of year. The front desk people were nice although not especially helpful. For example, first issue, the toilet didn’t flush. I went up to the front desk and let her know. She just said “sorry” and then blinked at me a few times. I asked for a plunger and she kinda looked at me then went back to find one. It did not work and I went back to let her know…. S

Positive: Convenient location and priced well. Negative: Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the floor. My bare feet were BLACK within minutes. DISGUSTING. Very, very disappointed they obviously do not clean the "wood" floors

This my own opinion and my own experience.. i dont want no one else to feel as if i’m trying to not give them the service they deserve this was just me… The room was nice but it was absolutely disgusting in the places u can’t see but have to clean.. the under lid of the toilet nasty and black molding. the bed was dirty with peoples hairs.. the head board was tearing and the towels smelled horrible the shower was nasty.. I do have good things to the water was hot and good and stuff but i’m not the type to complain but that was out of hand. no one wants to sleep where mold is at. it even looked like it inside where the water is.. and i even found bugs in my towel/rags it was wrapped in it. and not to mention no plunger or nothing.

The girl at front desk was awesome it was really late. She helped me out quickly nicely and I think she even saved me a couple of dollars. The rooms were way above what I expected it is pretty dicey this late and kinda middle of no where hotel off highway. Believe me I travel alot. My employees even were amazed at rooms. Got up after few hours of sleep ate breakfast at huddle house next door. On to Tallahassee. A+
