Days Inn by Wyndham Hornell NY

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was. The service was fine. The only problem I had was late night noise from the room above. I didn’t get much sleep on the first night. I asked for a different room for the second night. The clerk was very accommodating. Slept very well the second night. There were 3 other customers that first night. I don’t understand why 1 had to be housed right above my room

My husband and I were coming off the highway to stay before hitting the road back home,,Anna P was amazing!!! She helped us out more than we could have asked for,,,, the gentleman that worked that night and didn’t answer phone so she ran back and grabbed it for us,,,we had issue with Expedia charging us extra fees and Anna walked us through the process of fixing the mistake and stood up for us to Expedia,,, ,,, Sunday night overnight gentle man may may need extra training he was not very professional with us and did not seem to understand what he was doing,,??I recommend the rooms they are very clean and well taken care of shampoo smelled amazing

This is a good value place to stop on the way to Niagara Falls from places like NYC or eastern PA, or if you need to go to Alfred University, if a budget motel satisfies your needs. I liked how they have (re-heated) cheese omelets in their continental breakfast instead of “dried out scrambled eggs w/ hash browns” like a lot of other budget motels. That being said it is a budget motel, so don’t expect a Hilton Embassy Suites-level experience… which is what I expected. I liked that they had a bathtub in my room so I could take a hot bath after driving 200+ miles… even some luxury hotels today tend to be “cheap” with this and quietly give you a room with only a shower stall but no bathtub.

Roxanna greeted us with a smile. She was very accommodating of our needs. The WHOLE staff was very welcoming, even though they were short-staffed. We were there for 7 days. Every day, someone would ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Now, that is customer service! We will definitely go back. Room was clean and the breakfast was filling!
