Days Inn by Wyndham Eagle River

It was a good price, especially for such a busy weekend we were down there. The room was good, had a fridge and a microwave. There was no coffee maker in the room but who uses those anyway. There was coffee available at the front desk any time I looked. The pool area was alright, the main pool was nice, had this little jog to it made for swimming laps alright. On the first night the Hot Tub was a literal pool of lava. Easiest one of the top 5 hottest tubs I’ve even hot tubbed. In night 2 it was more “normal” and not a scalding as it was the first night. But by no means cold or anything. Made for a good back and forth between the 2 water features. It’s nice the Circle K is basically across the parking lots. There is a small bar between them but it’s all basically one complex.

Positive: I likes how close it was to WCDC. Negative: The hot tub was not hot according to people that were in it but I did not get in because it looked dirty. The hall leading to my room was partially blocked by boxes of air conditioners stacked there for our entire four day stay.

The room itself and the king bed were acceptable. The location was good for what we needed. Breakfast was good but it could have used less carb heavy options. and was restocked frequently. There were no coffee makers in room and the coffee w/breakfast did not taste good. It was close to a lot of different places. The price was right so that's why we stayed here. We streamed tv here with no problem - wifi worked well. The pool was cold but hot tub was nice. When we had issues the front desk staff did not seem like they wanted to resolve issues. It was overall a decent stay for the one time we will ever be in Eagle River.

The best part was the location- right on the trails. We were able to hop on sleds and go. Absolutely listen and take into consideration the feedback on staff. The morning to afternoon staff - awesome, kind, attentive and informative. The evening/overnight staff acted like he hated his job. When we got there check in was less than informative. He gave us a general direction and seemed like he was half asleep. The pool is NOT open 24/7 and closes at 10. The pool was an ice bath at best. I don't think the heater is working well if at all. The hot tub was nice. Breakfast 10/10 delicious. Well stocked and fresh. Standard breakfast options and was enough to feel like you could have what you want without getting decision fatigue. Right in the heart of snowmobile country but easy access with trailers makes it easy for anglers as well. Good spot for a layover until my cabin opened up for the rest of my stay. Clean, POOL! HOT TUB! & mini fridge! Service was awesome and it's time to fish.
