Great spot! Our second year here. Beds and pillows could be a bit more comfortable (and less squeaky!), and you might want to bring your own cookware, but overall, the units are great. Love the beach, the activities, games, and vehicles available for rent. Super family-friendly! Staff has been great, too, always willing to accommodate and greet you with a smile. We'll be back!

Repeat family vacationers to Wild Eagle Lodge here.. just arrived today..Aug 30 and had reservations for a 2 BR 2 BA condo lakeside . We were given condo 125 in Wood Duck.|20 min after we got our keys, we went to the front office. The condo had dirty carpets, saggy couch, no hangers, old coffee packets, smelled musty and over a dozen hornets in one of the rooms as well as the living room..some dead but most were buzzing everywhere.|We totally understand some units are owned and rented out. This unit should NOT have been rented. It needs serious fixing up. Come to find out that it is for sale, so whoever owns it basically isn't invested in keeping it up.|The front desk person graciously found us a different condo in a different building and we moved right in| What a difference!! Great value for your money in September. The resort condos have a north woods feel, are clean and spacious. Most (or maybe all?) units have a view of the lake and it is just a beautiful view/property. Great amenities. We rent a pontoon every year and it is great touring the chain of lakes. We would love it if the pontoon were available for shorter periods of time (rather than a full day) as the full day price is a bit high.

We absolutely loved our quick little family getaway over Labor Day weekend. We basically were in our own apartment with the luxuries or a cabin. Right on the river with fishing, swimming, kayaking. The pool was a little cold, but such a great big space. The restaurant onsite was closed, but there are plenty of options nearby. The front desk staff was beyond kind, personable and helpful. We would recommend this place to any family/couple looking to get away and enjoy the northwoods. We would love to come back for an extended stay.

This is an excellent resort in a beautiful location and great for families. We stayed during the Cranberry Fest weekend in a apartment unit. Most rooms have a great view of the lakes. Our room was well maintained, very clean, and had all the things we needed (utensils, dish soap, coffee, etc.). ||The pool area and pool were warm and great for younger kids like ours. ||Thank you for a nice weekend.
