Days Inn by Wyndham Cloverdale Greencastle

Hotel was recently renovated. At least it looks like it was. Night management was excellent. Room was older ,but is good shape. Unfortunately, the shower looked like it needed replacement. The breakfast needed better maintenance too. No juice in the machine. Over all, not a bad place for a quick rest when traveling.

I’m going to give an honest review here. The service was great. These folks are clearly working hard to try to improve an old set up. My DOG FRIENDLY room was clean. 10/10 on these folks not having some insane $75 dog fee. (I think it was $20). SUPER GRATEFUL for these people not extorting people for basically a second room rate just to have a dog traveling with you. You can tell they have recently painted and are working on making updates. I was a high end painter for years so I could pick them apart on their paint jobs but that’s not what I’m here for. They are welcome to reach out if they want pointers ;) . The people were over the top to help. I would tell people this is the place to go!!!! The rooms were clean. Did not have to ask for tawles at room every morning. I really like the owners.

Positive: It was very clean and comfortable. It is an older, door opens to lot style motel. It has been updated to more modern status. The folks at check in were very friendly and helpful. Negative: My room was quite cold upon arrival. The heater didn't seem to shut off when it got warm in the room. I had to shut it off completely to be able to sleep.

Newly remodeled/ painted. The place is well kept. Management on site is very attentive and professional. Housekeeping does a great job keeping rooms clean. The parking lot is well lit and has parking for those towing trailers or boats.
