Cataract Lake Cabins and Camping

Booked Moss Creek for 2 nights. Booked this one specifically because it had the whirlpool tub. Drove over 2 hours to get there and everything looked great upon arrival, until we went to fill the tub.....no hot water. We contacted the owners and they sent a repair man out. Thought he had it fixed but didn't. At this point in very frustrated, it's after 11 pm and we can't even shower. I emailed the owners and told them I intended to leave the next morning. The next morning the owner showed up. Knew it was a heating element that went bad .Gave us $50 to go have lunch while he repaired it, gave us an additional 2 free nights and a late check out. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure we were satisfied. Extremely happy with the end result and 2 of the nicest people I

We go here every year for the past 3-4 years, We continue because they're clean, They keep there kitchen supplies updated. We like moss creek because the open floor plan, the pool table (was happy to see the pool table updated) and the big open yard. The kids have room to play pool or roam the yard.

We stayed in moss creek for a staycation & had a blast! The wood burning stove was such a nice touch for our glamping getaway! Mr Bruce was so nice & very accommodating! We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Little Woods. We only had a couple of minor issues. I reported these via email, but did not receive a response. We had a lot of difficulty with the sliding barn door for the bathroom. It came off the rail several times, and at one point I was actually stuck in the bathroom and could not get out (had to yell at my deeply sleeping husband to let me out LOL). Not sure if it can be fixed? If I were by myself, not sure what I would have done! Also, the floors. They were horribly dirty. You couldn't tell by looking at them, but after a shower I walked over to the bed and in that short walk my feet were black. So we made sure to wear socks the rest of the time, removing them before bed so we wouldn't track dirt into the sheets. But to be fair, the place is out in the woo

Cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Nice a game table and other games available. Kitchen is equipped with everything if one is cooking. Country store close for ice and firewood. The downside was the small charcoal grill and the road to the cabin could have been maintained better. Overall we liked the area and cabin.
