Days Inn by Wyndham Bradenton I-75

When we booked online (via Priceline), I booked a King Bed room, but we were given a Queen (more like a double. No way that was a Queen). I could not be moved that night, but the next morning we were moved to a room with 2 Queen (double) beds. That was a much better option for my husband and I for our 6 night stay. This hotel is just ok- it's dated, could use more attention to cleanliness, and the breakfast was just ok (cereal, toast, bagels, and bananas). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the interstate and it is located in a great area. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Beware of this hotel! You will not receive basic amenities that are advertised on Priceline as well as their own webpage! We checked in only to notice that our room had no curtains, no floor lamp, no table/wall lamp, no alarm clock, no phone, and no soap holder in the shower. In addition there was no type of decor hung on the walls or curtains (only a pull down blind). Upon asking at the front desk clerk I was told that I may have an "older room." I would be fine with an "older room" if the room provided the basic amenities. Clearly this one did not meet the most very basic expectations. I asked if it would be possible to move to a different room and was told that there were no cancellations. New owners, new management, newly renovated.... This is a great place for an extended stay. The location is especially convenient for those who come here for work, for those trying to find a place to settle, or maybe those between leases.||This basic hotel has newly updated rooms with nice little extras like coffee pot, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries, as well as a microwave, a refrigerator and free wifi. The washer and dryer on site are clean and inexpensive. The staff was amazing, especially housekeeping and the front desk...Housekeeping is every third day which works out great for both sides. I definitely had a five star experience here.

Positive: Nothing Negative: It was infested with roaches. I wasn’t even there a hour. They tried to give me another room, but they roaches in there too. Give me a refund, even though he could not provide a service. They offer free breakfast. This is a health and safety issue

The evening I arrived the young lady at the desk was very pleasant. Once I arrived at my room I was missing a remote for the TV. I asked this same young lady for one and about 5 minutes I was back in business. The location worked for my local work. The room was adequate for my purposes. Price was OK for what was provided. The breakfast was OK. Many times the cereals where mixed. There was fruit each day and sometimes fruit juice. But at least there was something to eat each morning. I wish there was a sign to put on the outside of the door if you needed services such as cleaning or trash. For my stay of 6 days my room was not serviced once and trash was not removed until checkout.
