Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown Historic District

We had a great experience at this hotel. It was very walkable to restaurants, the pier and the Riverwalk. The room was spacious. We had a corner King and were very happy with the accommodations. The staff was a highlight. They were very accommodating and quick to solve issues. The general manager, Spurgeon, made a point to introduce himself and ask about our stay. Jordan, the assistant general manager did a great job taking care of issues that arose. Troy at the front office was very accommodating and did a great job managing the Desk. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay on the Riverwalk in Bradenton.

My bed was so soft it broke my back. I take Oxycodone for my back, and with this mattress being so soft Oxycodone didn't help. My TV didn't work the first night, the maintenance man ( who was very nice ) he fixed the remote again. And still, it didn't work the third time was the charm! The door in my bathroom didn't shut properly it kept opening. The continental breakfast was probably the best I have ever had. The staff were all amazing. I am a fairly young man, but I am severely handicapped from multiple strokes. In the breakfast hall, I fell and could not get up several guests, and hotel staff came to my aid to get me on my walker seat and wheel me to my table. And they got me a plate of food. Thank you all! Positive: The continental breakfast Negative: The bed was AWFUL. It made my back so sore. I couldn't wait to get back home. Unfortunately I took to Oxycodone the night before check out and I couldn't drive home in that condition. So I stayed an extra day

We came to Bradenton on a last-minute trip and, based on the price, expected something around a solid 3-star experience. We were warmly greeted by Summer at check-in, who kindly helped us with an early check-in since we were exhausted from traveling—she was the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. Despite the high price (over $350 per night), the property feels like a 2-star hotel at best. The building is clearly very old. While it appears somewhat maintained on the surface, the rooms are in noticeable disrepair. Our room door wouldn’t properly close unless we either slammed it hard or physically lifted it because it was sagging in the frame. At check-in, Rebecca immediately set the tone with her warm and welcoming demeanor. Although our room wasn’t quite ready, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating—offering to store our luggage and recommending nearby spots to relax and enjoy refreshments.
