Days Inn by Wyndham Boerne

The lobby is cute. Great location. Good price. Breakfast is coffee, muffins, and juice. Rooms are NOT soundproof. Beds are comfy, but you can hear every conversation or person passing their car outside your door. And apparently 8am is the perfect time for them to start construction projects in the building. Parking is also horrible. My partner has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair regularly. There was no handicapped parking and we had to go down half a level from the parking lot to our room. And there is nowhere near enough parking for all the rooms. We had a spot in front of our room when we left for dinner and had to park in a completely different area when we returned.

An ok stop for a night. Clean and quiet right off 10. You can get a cup of coffee or tea and a muffin for breakfast. Parking was at your door which made it easy to do a little arrangement adjustment to our vehicle. Check in was smooth as was checking out. Some nice flowers planted up front.

It is false advertising for this hotel to say anything about having a breakfast! They do NOT. I do not think that anyone would consider coffee, orange juice, and a very small muffin - breakfast. What a huge disappointment. This was even worse that one of the outlets and a lamp not working and the chair that came apart when I tried to stand up (the arm came off). I guess it was not glued on. Very poor maintenance.

They’ve tried to make a good first impression but the plexiglass wall to wall shield at the front desk is there for a reason. Is it bullet proof I wondered?|The room was 83 degrees and we had to turn on the window unit. It was slow and didn’t cool the room after an hour. The microwave door button stuck and couldn’t be used. The fire extinguisher hadn’t been inspected this year. The baseboard was falling off. The stove buttons were melted. The stove vent was dripping with grease. I couldn’t get the phone to dial the front desk multiple times. Finally it did. I reported the microwave. They offered to change our room to next door. The office person tried the microwave and that one stuck! So she moved us to a third hot room. This one the fridge didn’t work. I called about it. She told

Upon arriving the front desk clerk was accommodating. The beds were comfy, and it was descent for the pricing. I did appreciate the accommodations for my ESA dogs. However, there was some small issues. 1. The floors were sticky so walking bare foot was really uncomfortable. 2. The shower had hair from someone else stuck on the wall. 3. I went to place my phone charger in the bedside drawer to find residue of cocaine paraphernalia, baggies, paper with residue and a straw. All in all, cleanliness could be better and that would have been a higher rating.
