Days Inn & Baymont Inn

I booked a night here after travelling to northern Virginia. My fault entirely as I should have looked a little harder at the reviews and location and the style of hotel. It's a hotel/motel where the door of your room is on the outside, I never like this way of staying somewhere especially when the temperature is 35 degrees outside. I booked an ADA room and upon checking in was shown a room right at the end of the building, now, surely if you have Ada rooms, wouldn't they be close to everything like the front desk and breakfast area? Well, we got our key and walked all the way to the end and opened the door to our room. It was ok, nothing special and cold floors as no carpet, the bathroom still had a used towel slung over the shower rail, there were hairs around the bath tub and on the bed

Small but clean room. Nice pool area. Nice restaurant and bar. With decent food. The food wasn't extravagant but the prices were very good, especially compared to DC. We ended up just staying at the bar for the evening, having drinks, chatting with other patrons and the bartender. Everyone was welcoming. We had a good stay overall.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, although a little dated. The breakfast is fair, but the location itself is perfect. I was a little disappointed with the noise going through the walls, but had a comfortable experience overall.

All around win for me! GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY! Price, location, amenities and newly remodeled room! The included breakfast was amazing! Full Southern breakfast with hot and cold buffet. Great friendly staff made it a down home meal.

Mildew/mold stains and smell everywhere, trash from the last tenants (candy wrappers and candy bars and random paper clips?) and the tub didn’t have a stopper. The breakfast is the only thing getting this more than a one star and that’s just barely. And the construction on the ‘renovated’ rooms started before 8am on a Saturday.
