Current river inn

We originally booked a Vrb that fell through a week or so before our trip so we called and made a reservation here. It's a cute place. Our room was clean and well decorated. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful. We felt safe there. It's down the block from the Ranch House Coffee and that's a big plus. I didn't expect that it would be as nice as it was. It's basic but I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on Monday Sept, 22nd 2025, and our stay was WONDERFUL! We prefer small “mom and pop” motels/motor courts. Check in was smooth and easy. Our bed SO soft and comfortable! It’s close (walking distance) to the river and restaurants. Check out was just as easy and the older lady in the office was very informative, friendly and helpful. Please keep in kind, this motel was built in the 1950’s. The bathroom is small, and this isn’t your modern day chain hotel….it’s so much better. There is a pool and play area for kids, as well as grills, throughout and plenty of outdoor seating. I was disappointed that the coffee shop has been closed down. We will happily come back again.

Room was really clean. Bed was comfy. Hot water ran out quick. The toilet took nearly 5 minutes to refill after flushing.

Beware!!!!! I would not recommend this hotel due to a serious cleanliness issue. During my stay, I discovered bed bugs in the room. This is unacceptable and created an extremely uncomfortable and stressful experience. I immediately reported it to the front desk, but the response was inadequate and did not resolve the problem. Hotels should prioritize guest safety and hygiene, and unfortunately this property failed to meet even basic standards. I strongly urge management to address this issue properly to prevent other guests from going through the same experience. Tried to speak with the front desk about a partial refund for the 9 hours we were in the room & I was hung up on multiple times. Attached is a picture of just one of the bugs that were found!!

Me and grandson stayed here. Lady that runs it was very understanding. First room was OK, bed hurt my back due to injury. Was staying 2 nights, she allowed us too switch too different room with a more comfortable bed. Rooms are clean, . It's a older hotel so don't expect alot other than a quiet,clean ,place to stay. Grandson loved the pool.i would definitely stay here again especially room 107.
