Crystal Motel

Nice and affordable motel! The people that run it are super nice and go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. There's no bad element, no people yelling or wandering around at all hours of the night. Housekeeping is really nice, too! Something that it really important to me: The wi-fi is actually really good here! Wi-fi is never good in motels, right? Nah, here it is stable and getting perfectly decent speeds sometimes, really good speeds others. All in all it's a nice, neat Route 66-era motel with good people!

I have to say, check in was very nice, the staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The microwave and mini fridge were a nice touch. The wifi worked, but was slow. The bathroom door would not close without a VERY hard push. My wife couldn't close it at all. Our main disappointment was the TV. I do not know why, but it only worked in black and white. I mentioned it to the staff when I was checking out and they did seem like they were going to fix it. All together, it was a nice stay for the price.
