Crystal Inn

I’ve been staying here off and on while dealing with some personal matters and it has been very nice to see the office staff be so welcoming and kind it truly has helped with the time here. Eric the manager is very understanding and helpful with anything you need and he does his job very well. Tatiannah was the first employee I met and she was a very sweet & respectful person! She is always so kind and helpful with anything you may want or need. Tasha is also another great employee I deal with a lot and she is always willing to help with anything you may need! Very kind and sweet! They all have made my stay here a lot better than I expected it to be. There’s a few others that have helped me I just can’t remember names. This is a very nice small affordable Inn. The location is a short drive from beaches and restaurants and shops. Their swimming pool is clean and refreshing, and my favorite part. The rooms were clean and the staff were all great. There is a nice little breakfast available in the morning.

Do not stay here. It’s disgusting. The staff is very nice but they don’t know how to clean. We checked in and out room had hair in the bed, sticky substances on the night stand, mold in the shower, drawings on the wall, dirt all over the floor. We brought up the issue to the lady at check in and she moved us to another room that did look much better, but there was still hair in the bed. The room smelled like smoke, and in our NON smoking room there were cigarette burns in the blanket and the chair in the room. We slept there one of our 5 and immediately checked out in the morning to find a new hotel. They did refund us after many calls with Expedia and the hotel.

For the price, the room was good. There was a lot to be desired.. starting with the TV. They do not have any cable, or normal channels, it's all third party streaming of some kind. And it's not HD, it's almost equivalent to early 2000s quality video, but on a flat-screen. The hotel was quite busy while I was there, and there would be people leaning and knocking against the window of my room. The wifi is fine for browsing, but don't depend on it for videos, streaming or gaming. But really I just needed a place to sleep. And it fulfilled it's purpose. Staff was extremely friendly.

I was thankful to find this hotel for a last minute stay. Its a very basic place. The room was clean. No pictures on the walls but it looks like they updated the furniture. The beds were nice and comfortable. No bugs! Its a shame that the renovations were done poorly though. You can tell that they really try to care for this older building. The staff was very professional, something that is so important and makes the place much classier. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two.
