Great downtown location. Walking distance from anything you need. In-house restaurant and room service. Beautiful indoor pool with late hours. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived early and waited in the well appointed lobby for our room to be ready. The music was varied and definitely added to our enjoyment of our stay.

Got caught in a bad storm on a long drive home with my boyfriend. Tried to make the best of a bad situation. |I made the reservation and included the parking fee. We didn’t need any more headaches. We parked on the street (free parking 5pm-8am or something of the sort). I went to check in. It was the standard process (albeit with far less warmth than I’m used to) until the front desk guy asks where we parked. I said the street. He said, “I will never understand why you people park on the street when it is included in your reservation.” “Oh, yeah, I just didn’t know where to pull in or if we needed to check in first.” “But there’s a spot to pull in and you paid for it.” It’s three days later and I’m still wondering why he cared that much. It was free! Not a super huge fan of being treated

Although this was a business trip for training, I was very pleased with my stay from the time I valeted my car to the time I checked out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to walk into any business and see genuine smiles. And also, be made to feel like I'm important and not bothering the staff with my crazy questions being a visitor from out of town. I so appreciated the stay and the comfortable settings in the hotel. Thank you to everyone...if I didn't remember your name specifically, my apologies. Please remember that I remembered your service and the time you took to make sure that my stay was the best it could possibly be!!

First of all to summarize -the good: 1. Very friendly and responsive staff including front desk and maintenance. Quickly responded to my HVAC issues and offered me a new room. 2. Convenient downtown location walkable to train station 3. Spacious swimming pool that is well heated 4. Excellent well renovated bathroom with very good products (Apoteke) To work on: 1. Very noisy equipment and difficult to control HVAC. It was unplugged when I first arrived, which likely was done by a previous guest, due to the clunking noises it made. 2. Very dated furniture showing excessive wear 3. Very dated room amenities including lights, TV, HVAC, carpet, wall coverings 4. Not the cleanest rooms but not horrible either. I stayed here for a concert at the HMAC, as it is a 5min drive, or a 20min walk from the venue, so I figured let’s give it a try. I will say, overall, I had a great experience, but here is a detailed review in each category: FOOD/RESTAURANT: the in-house restaurant on the premise has great breakfast food! The coffee is delicious, and the OJ is thirst quenching. I would skip the sausage, and just go for the bacon, as I found the sausage patties to be flavorless, and greasy. The bacon was the right amount of crisp, and was decent size. The eggs are good, but the waffles and pancakes are delicious! ROOM: I stayed in room 922, and it was clean, neat, and had a beautiful view of the buildings, with a peek of the park/ricer across the way, and the beautiful church to the right. The bathroom wa
