Crown Motel El Centro

There was no availability at any of the hotels I've stayed at before so I ended up taking the first available room the operator recommended, which was here. I stayed in room 114 on 2/23/26. Arrived at midnight. Left by 4am. Eerie feeling as soon as I walked into the room. Felt unsafe and grossed out at the same time. It was late. I was tired. I settled. Therefore, got little to no sleep. Wasted $124. Broken lamps the one light the worked was flickering non-stop. I did not use the blankets nor towels. They were old and dirty. Blanket had a (1") white stain. Vent cover in restroom was falling, tub was disgusting, rusted old mirror, ripped/broken chairs, and the door...I should have taken an overall picture of the room but I only took these... zoom in. Do not stay. They weren't even polite at

I stayed one week at the Crown Motel for one week. I was positively surprised. the rooms are large, very clean, and quiet. the owner is friendly and has a nice disposition. the owner retuned returned to my credit card one day reservation I did not need. I will not hesitate to return or to recommend the Crown Motel. The Crown Motel is a great deal!

The room looked run down. There were holes in the carpet, the bed frame was loose and moved when we did. The worst thing of all was everything had hair on it or in it, the sheets, the towels, the pillows, stains on the mattress covers. My daughter also found some derogatory words written inside the drawers which makes it not very family friendly.

This being an older property youd think maybe not your first choice. My friends, ill tell you, this property is well ran, clean, neat and comfortable. A hidden gem. I've saved it and will likely use it again.
