MainStay Suites El Centro I-8

This hotel was in a nice and convenient location. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was nice, clean and no issues with appliances and thermostat. The hotel staff was pleasant to work with. They share a lobby with the comfort inn across the parking lot. They offered free breakfast to guests from 4am-10am. Awesome that they have an extended time frame for breaks! The fitness center had basic needs for a gym...they actually had a sauna too! Free parking as well.

We actually got upgraded to across the way at mainstay. We got two queen beds in a suite with kitchenette. The beds were so comfy with plenty of pillows. The room was clean. I felt safe. The night attendant was really nice. I just wish the continental breakfast lasted longer. Its currently 4am to 9am I think way to early and not late enough. Check out is 11am

Checking in through the lobby of an adjacent hotel. Shower nozzle settings were backwards (hot/cold). Bathroom mirror and picture hung crooked. TV TERRIBLE relative to choices and positioning, as TV was too small to be seen from the bed. But with the limited channel choices, I didn't watch it anyway. Bar was very loud. Positives - staff very pleasant, room was clean, liked the kitchenette (which is why I chose the hotel in the first place).

The staff at Comfort Inn & Suites El Centro were very friendly and helpful I called the day before to confirm my reservation and accommodations Confirmed they were taking care of my needs. Positive: Hotel employee was on the night shift and I must say, the best hospitality I have had in years! She was naturally happy to help and wasn't just doing her job, she was enjoying it. When she wasn't helping she Was cleaning. Absolutely the best Negative: It was out of their control but pool was closed so we were a lil bit disappointed but understood.
