Courtyard by Marriott Yonkers Westchester County

Positive: The staff. Amazing! Amazing! Staff was amazing. I believe that’s his name. He handled my booking with care and the ladies the next morning greeted me like they knew me my whole life. Amazing to see people like me running the show and being so hospitable. Negative: There were ants in the room. Probably coming from the wood. Should fumigate.

Easy-to-access location with plenty of parking. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was nice. There were a few stains on the couch, but that’s not unusual for a hotel. We had a couple of issues at check-in, but the maintenance team was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Unfortunately, the afternoon front desk team didn’t leave a great impression—they listened to our concerns but didn’t make much effort to resolve them or show genuine care. The morning desk team, however, felt much more attentive and professional—definitely the “A team.”

Nice rooms and friendly staff. Clean and no bad odors. Quiet location. Plenty of parking. My only minor complaint is that the televisions are tiny by today's standards. And like all Marriott hotels there channel choices are weak. Beds were average for comfort.

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Yonkers early in December 2025. However, this is what I learned. This hotel is not owned by the Marriot. A group bought by the name form Marriott and are not held up to the standards of the brand. You think you are staying at a Marriott, but your not. This particular group owns approximately 25 locations of different hotel names but is NOT A MARRIOTT. LOST JACKET: I left the hotel and realized I left my jacket in the room, so I called and spoke to Jackie who is also the front desk manager. She said they have the jacket and to just come pick it up. Great place!But the breakfast is limited choice and the staff were so busy to manage ordering. I recommend the buffet style breakfast.
