Courtyard by Marriott Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

Location was great. Atmosphere was fine. Room was nice and clean. But I have to address the Noise Level even though it has been 7 or so weeks since we stayed there. We went there over Thanksgiving 2025 to spend time with family, and that was very nice; we ate at the Whaling Company which likely needs a little upgrading after 40 years (but the service was good). We had a room with a balcony. About 830 PM, some people decided to play music, at the pool, in late November, loud. The bass was thumping. After about 10 minutes I called the front desk to ask them to turn it down. After 15 minutes nothing happened so I went to the front desk and the worker said she asked them to turn it down and there was nothing else she could do if they wouldn't. Loved the new room design and cleaness, although the bathrooms can use ventilation. The amenities including heated pool, hot tub, and cafe were exactly what we were looking for in this cold weather. The only thing missing is a bathroom in the pool area. Overall, we had a great stay!

We had a wonderful experience. The lobby, hallways, room, all smelled & looked super clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was always crowded, we just waited our turn. The good thing was you couldn't hear the noise inside the room. Dining was not in operation still, but they did provide morning coffee & a snack area. We would stay again. (I would recommend your own shampoo, the provided shampoo & wash was essential oils & a little too burny on my scalp, just fyi)

I had called to say that I would be arriving late, and when I walked in the entrance the receptionist remembered talking with me. Every employee that I interacted with was very nice. The room was very nice and large. The only negative was that the walls were thin. I could hear someone snoring. My room #129 was next to a back door, and when someone opened the door it was very loud. The bed was comfortable, and the ac worked great. I like a cool room and kept the heat at 68 degrees. The blackout curtains were good and I couldn't tell when the sun came up. I got breakfast there and it was delicious. The "Eggs Your Way" was a lot of food and I could barely eat it all. Mr. Thomas and Ms. Katrina both were amazing Front Desk Agents during my birthday stay! However, the woman who was their Shift Manager 16Feb2026, was a terrible representation of the establishment. Not only did she think it was ok to micromanage her team into harassing me on an issue that was taken care of once I explained it correctly, she thought it was ok to down talk her team to me, the customer. Her rude comments about Mr. Thomas to me were highly unacceptable and she could learn a lot from him about customer service. Again, thanks to everyone else though! Y’all helped this disabled veteran who is facing hardships have the greatest birthday!
