Courtyard by Marriott Tulsa Woodland Hills

This review is for Carlos at the front desk-1/17/26. Carlos is amazing and exemplifies customer service 100%. He made sure our small issue was taken care of immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. Kudos to him!

Excellent friendly staff. I had the room I requested but realized it had a lot of elevator noise so requested a change after the first night. They were very accommodating and I was able to switch rooms on the same floor. Loved having a balcony to get fresh air. Iris and Jayne were great hosts at the front desk. ||I had breakfast there a couple of times. Also a great and friendly staff. I recommend the breakfast burrito. The oatmeal was a bit watery. Gym was also amble and clean. They have a very large outside area with lots of tables and chairs. ||My on,y complaint is that they do not have recycling. But this may be the fault of the county.

The rooms are decent, the front desk workers act as if the customers are a sorry inconvenience. We arrived from out of town to find our prepaid room not ready and absolutely no time frame for getting it ready. We returned two hours later, to wait in line while another customer was told ‘sorry that your toilet doesn’t work. No we can’t fix it. ‘. He was understandably upset. Our room still wasn’t ready and the front desk had the same response, no idea when. If they’d been somewhat accommodating, I would not have gotten upset. It’s the attitude and lack of customer service that is the issue. The customer who has paid for a service shouldn’t be treated like an inconvenience when they showed up. As someone who also works for a Courtyard by Marriott property, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic customer service at this location. I know exactly how the process should work, and the way my situation was handled was completely unacceptable. When I tried to add my husband, Santos, to my reservation, the staff gave me an unnecessarily hard time. They claimed there was no manager available, told me to cancel and rebook under his name instead, and when I asked for the corporate number, they hung up on me. I then called back and he transferred me to reservation services to which they were able to add my husband to my reservation. When my husband arrived, they refused to accept his valid discount form, insisted he pay full price for the same room, and then wouldn’t even
