Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Airport

Not bad for the price but when I checked in, I reserved a spot on the 8am airport shuttle for the next morning. When I went to the lobby at 7:50am, the morning clerk said I was not scheduled for the shuttle. The afternoon clerk never put me on the list! There was an elderly couple that also had no seat on the shuttle, so I didn't take the chance and took an Uber so I didn't miss my flight. Employees were nice but not thorough.

At the end of our two-week trip from Rapid City to Bozeman to Yellowstone to Jackson to Park City, we chose this Courtyard for its proximity to the SLC airport for an early morning flight. We are very happy we did! Mamadou, at the front desk, was very helpful (and friendly) with answers to our questions about the shuttle and returning our rental car. He even offered to take the luggage cart back to the front door for me. ||Our room smelled great and was very clean. There’s not a lot of places to eat in the immediate vicinity, so I convinced my wife to try the Bistro in the hotel. It was very good! Accommodating and very comfortable hotel! The bed and the linens were amazingly comfortable. The showerhead water pressure was amazing and adjustable. The staff goes above and beyond to help with anything. The lobby is great the way it is set up for eating and then on the other side of the lobby a fireplace to just lounge. I also like the location and they have great airport shuttle service. I felt like everything that mattered they hit the nail on the head. My shower walls probably needed new wallpaper but it wasn’t that big of a deal because it was clean and everything worked and functioned very wonderfully.

Nice hotel and I was upgraded to a larger room. The ONLY complaint I had was that there was a few LONG STRANDS of hair in the toilet and they did NOT flush down the toilet which meant a TOILET BRUSH was NOT used when the bathroom was cleaned before I arrived. Gross! I got some added points to my Bonvoy account.

Above average rooms for Courtyard standards. HVAC is a lil annoying. Friendly but understaffed in restaurant area. Would be 4 or 5 but their shuttle service is atrocious. 1. Call to get schedule and they say oh you call. 2. Driver drove away as I was walking towards him to head back to airport because in the morning they are on a schedule. 3. 3rd shuttle driver asked if I worked for an airline. No? Oh I don’t work for the hotel (while in a Marriott courtyard can) proceeded to park and get out an smoke a cigarette. Had to call an uber….
