Courtyard by Marriott Portland Tigard

We checked in and the front desk was very upbeat and friendly! The entrance was clean. We booked 1 king bed. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Even had a balcony. I am very picky when it comes to hotel rooms but this hotel felt very clean! Very close to bridgeport village. The next morning, we fed our toddler a quick breakfast at their bistro. They were out of egg products, so we opted for a croissant. They sell starbucks drinks. I would definitely stay here again!

We understand a "great hotel" is defined differently for everyone. This Courtyard in Tigard is a GREAT hotel for us. Conveniently located just off of the I-5 Freeway, yet very quiet. We requested a room on the opposite side of the freeway, the front desk told us we may hear the train that passes through from time to time. We never really noticed it as we only returned at night to sleep.||||This is a great location for us, as this was a wine tasting weekend. It is just 15 minutes away from central part of Portland, with reasonable room rates and plenty of parking. While it is disappointing that Marriott is starting to charge daily parking at properties that have ample parking spaces. Just a mutated way for the industry to charge more per stay. Quick stay just for fun. First time at this location. Was not greeted with Elite status but that rarely occurs. Upgraded room which was nice. Hotel also appears to be upgraded but can tell it's an older hotel. TVs are very small for a Marriott/any hotel. Single clerk appeared to be running entire facility as we requested two plates but there was no staff to bring up to room (we were asked to come down). Did not use dining facilities as there are number of restaurants in short driving distance (phenomenal indian restaurant just a few miles away). Apparently the pool was removed and the fitness facilities improved but we did not use/visit them so no idea what they're like. Overall a clean decent hotel. I travel a lot and this is my go-to hotel when I work in the area. Rooms are clean and workout facilities are great. Hotel has a game room for the kids. Only downside is the lack of restaurants in walking distance.
