Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia

Spent a full week here, the staff was kind understanding and very accommodating to my needs when I needed to extend another day on short notice (very short) they stepped to the plate and made it happen. My room was clean and quiet as I work overnight halfway through my stay they left new towels and items in a bag on my door handle. What a nice gesture as you are to call and request these items in the morning by 8am which I did not because I forgot. If you are in the area and in need of a great hotel look no further book right away you won't be disappointed.

Hotel was nice. My daughter left her purse and they set me up with a service to send it back which was nice but they took all the money out of her wallet… who steals from a little girl?? The weird thing is they told us beforehand they were going to take the money. They warned us they were not responsible for the money in the wallet that the found immediately in the lobby as we were leaving. So they immediately went through her little girl purse and took her money. Wild.

Things got off to a bad start at check-in. I had pulled up to the space right in front of the hotel, which is marked with two large signs stating that there is a limit of 10 minutes for standing there. When I checked in at the desk, the staff member explained how to drive around the building to park near my room, and then added that I could also just leave my car where it was. I was a bit disoriented after a long drive and also didn't understand how it would be OK to leave my car where it was, right in front of the entrance. Platinum Bonvoy member here. I redeemed points for my stay and was disappointed by the experience from the start. There was no greeting or acknowledgment of my status at check-in, and no mention of any upgrade options, even though the hotel appeared nearly empty on a Sunday night. The front desk associate came across as dismissive and unwelcoming as soon as approaching the counter. Unfortunately, the room itself was dated, worn, and not well-maintained. After 50 Bonvoy stays this year across the U.S., this property ranks near the bottom of my experiences.
