Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Devon/Villanova

This review is all about RAMAN KAUR. I’ve spent hundreds of nights in hotel rooms over the years. RAMAN KAUR is absolutely the most proactive, responsive customer service person I have ever come across in the hotel industry. When I was on crutches, she made sure I had a room on the first floor right across from the exit, and she helped me bring my suitcase, etc to my room. When I accidentally made a second reservation that I didn’t need, she noticed it in the Marriott system, called me about it, and fixed my mistake. Raman is always pleasant, helpful, and puts the customer first every time! The Marriott Courtyard/Philly/Devon has been my hotel of choice ever since I met Raman. Long after my daughter graduates from Villanova, I will remember her outstanding customer service!

This is a terrific hotel. Very well run. Quiet and very clean. Great location as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good value for the location. Lots of parking. The rooms are very clean. My only complaint was the quality of the food. They serve only breakfast and it could be much better. Kid bartenders at night with very light pours.|Overall, great place to stay.

My stay was very lovely. This hotel is so clean! The beds are comfortable. I heard no loud noises. All the staff were very friendly. My family requested our rooms be right next to each other the day before our check in date and our request was fulfilled so i can say we were truly satisfied. 10/10 for everything!

This is a very convenient and well maintained property. On the positive side, check in was quick and pleasant, the room clean, the bed linens, pillows and mattresses were excellent, recently renovated bathroom, comfortable desk and chair, large closet and dresser, and a sofa bed with ottoman. We did need to immediately change our first room as the thermostat was not working and the a/c never came on. And the morning flow of guests leaving their rooms, with doors opening and closing, seemed to be noisier than most properties. Overall I would definitely recommend and will return.

Mediocre experience. Service and staff were great, but room 320 had a broken toilet seat and a malfunctioning deadbolt that kept self-opening before closing the door. Shower has rust along the shelf. The gym has a very strong mildew/mold odor. Not awful, but I exited more from a courtyard property.
