Courtyard by Marriott Paramus

Overall, very satisfied. It looks like the hotel was recently renovated. Our room was very spacious, clean with comfortable beds. Lobby area was inviting and the staff friendly and helpful. For a Courtyard level type hotel, it was excellent. We would certainly stay there again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was a few minor issues such as: - Entry in and out of the parking lot is cumbersome. You need to go through an adjoining, vacate building's parking lot. - Water pressure in the bathroom sink was minimal - Not the hotel's fault, but the traffic noise throughout the night could disturb light sleepers

We spent over 2 weeks there. Rooms are clean and on the newer side. The gym was small but proved to be adequate for the morning rush on most days. The lobby was very spacious and relatively quiet - perfect for remote work. The only negative for us was the location of the hotel. The area is not walkable. You have to drive everywhere which in and of itself is okay except that you are on 17 so no left turns resulting in constantly driving in circles made worse by the traffic at all times of the day. All that said, ideal for a few days. For longer stays like ours, the location becomes frustrating.

I love stayimg here, they have a lovely lounge area out back with fire pit and lots of lounge chairs and couches. Also tables and chairs with umbrellas. They have a nice bistro that serves breakfast and dinner. The marketplace has a decent selection as well for snacks and drinks in between. The only drawback is no pool and it can be hard to turn into with traffic merging right in front of the hotel.

We were there for my Mom's funeral and had stayed there for my aunt's funeral as well. Our previous stay was wonderful, but this stay topped it! (Except for our reason for being there) The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, arranging for a room away from the highway and elevator, as my husband is very sensitive to noise. Throughout our stay the staff was courteous and supportive. It was also helpful to have the food available for us when we got there at night and in the morning for breakfast as we were able to visit with family and friends easily due to this. It was also nice that there were not TVs blaring, although they were on if someone was interested. Thank you for an exceptional staff and stay! By the way, the rooms were wonderful, too. This hotel is totally renovated and done really well. As mentioned in an earlier review the entrance to the hotel is very easy to miss. Some signage along the roadway would be very helpful. We did have a small concern with our room and the front desk sent a manager up named Millie. So asked when a good time would be for them to correct the issue, we were leaving shortly and when we returned it was resolved and the entire room was once again cleaned top to bottom. We received a phone call after we checked out from Millie just making sure that the rest of our stay was an enjoyable one. Very impressive customer service!!!!!
